I wish there were some way to articulate the magnificence of the flourescent millipedes that live in the leaf litter surrounding the local sycamore groves. The creatures are dependant on the organic material that falls from the trees for their sustenance, yet the trees are equally indebted to the minuscule arthropods, who break down the debris as they manuever through it, transforming it into mulch. I harbor no allusion, however, that I could adequately photograph these myriapods under the requisite ultraviolet illumination. So instead I have constructed this mischievious little puzzle to exult them.
